Se observa una larva sobre una hoja de brócoli. Su ciclo de vida es holometábolo (pasa por las etapas de huevo, larva, pupa y adulto). Se realizó un seguimiento al ciclo de vida de este individuo a fin de identificarlo. Esta especie es considerada por algunas personas como una plaga económica.
