Polycleptidella chilensis es un insecto perteneciente al orden Orthoptera (saltamontes) y a la familia Tettigoniidae. Conocido comúnmente como un saltamontes longicornio o de antenas largas, es nativo de Chile
Son principalmente nocturnos y fitófagos, aunque también pueden consumir materia orgánica. Se asemejan a hojas o a la corteza, con antenas que superan el tamaño de su cuerpo. Este ejemplar lo encontré en el baño del ingreso al sendero Alerce Andino
