Pequeño estudio de un ejemplar, mostrando claramente el plumaje y como se diferencia evidentemente de A. correndera (considerada erróneamente como conespecífica por algunos autores). Esto sin considerar su también diferente despliegue, voces, hábitos, hábitat, dieta, nidificación, dimensiones, total alopatría, etcétera.
