Granja tematica La Carolina. Gran cantidad de palmeras jovenes de distintas especies, nativas y exoticas, plantadas como ornamentales. Se detecta R. palmarun sobre Phoenix dactylifera, P canariensis y Syagrus romanzoffiana. Muy posible infeccion de otas especies por su abundancia. Se aplica insecticidas sistemicos por inyeccion al tronco por gavedad y se colocan varias trampas con ferormonas de agregacion con alta cantidad de capturas
