Aphirape flexa es la única especie del género Aphirape citada para Uruguay.
Acordamos siguiendo las recomendaciones de Lucas Rubio, en publicar este registro en la ficha de A. flexa hasta que nuevos muestreos o estudios determinen la ocurrencia de otras especies del género dentro de Uruguay, las cuales pueden ser muy difíciles de diferenciar entre ellas valiéndose sólo de imágenes.
