Vista de los élitros, pronoto y tibia medial curvada. Si se busca puede hallarse que esta Especie es llamada: Calosoma (Castrida) alternans granulatum. Hay discrepancias si es Subespecie o Especie, en mi opinión Calosoma (Castrida) alternans alternans de Venezuela es diferente a la de acá. Determinada con varias claves y descripciones. Iluminada con linterna de "led".
