Está citada para Buenos Aires en "The aquatic and semiaquatic weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionoidea: Curculionidae, Dryophthoridae and Erirhinidae) of Argentina, with indication of their host plants" (Morrone and O´Brien, 1999).
