Registro fotogŕafico obtenido en compañía de Mercedes Vivero Barrios (Grupo Guaycuru - Chaco). Identificado por eBird Argentina ( Fabricio Gorleri y equipo )." Las características que lo definen como tal son: Ausencia de parche oscuro a los lados del pecho dorso y alas gris claro con primarias externas y borde de secundarias más oscuros; Capuchón no "sólido" como en Chlidonias Niger con el blanco extendiendose más allá de la zona auricular"
