Description: Brownish back streaked with black, black coverts edged with brown, dusky underparts with black and white barring on flanks and undertail, bright red iris, and greenish bill.
Sexual Dimorphism: Nonexistent.
Geographic Distribution: In Argentina, found in the provinces of Misiones, Corrientes, Formosa, and Chaco.
Habitat: Reeds, swamps, and wetlands.
