Mientras guiábamos un grupo de observadores de aves junto a Richard Lindie de Rockjumper Tours en la ciudad de Puerto Iguazú pudimos observar claramente un individuo de Tachornis squamata (Neotropical Palm Swift, o podría ser Vencejo de las Palmeras para nosotros) volando sobre la ciudad junto a otros ejemplares de Cypseloides fumigatus. Tanto Richard como yo conocíamos la especie con anterioridad y todo el grupo (12 personas en total) pudimos identificar claramente a la especie
