Ejemplar solitario residente del embalse sospecho, desde hace algunos años,es posible que tenga su pareja aunque nunca la he visto. Es todo un espectaculo verlo cazar peces y como los acomoda en línea recta con sus garras cuando vuela.
Suele perchar en los topes de árboles secos sumergidos en al agua.
