Tetragonoderus pictus

Muchas gracias a Darío Porrini por identificar este pequeño carábido, de unos 8 mm. (sin las antenas) muy común en las arenas de las costas bonaerenses donde corre intermitente y velozmente sobre la arena en procura de presas, siendo crípticos en este sustrato.
Gracias también a Carlos Grassini quien agrega que es una hembra adulta, porque en este grupo los tarsos anteriores finos son de hembra, engrosados en el macho, y además se ve el abdomen dilatado más allá de los élitros.
