(También llamado "pescado de patio") Estos peces necesitan respirar aire atmosférico para vivir, usan el estómago y parte del intestino como si fuera un pulmón. Son capaces de soportar muchísimo fuera del agua y además "caminan"
en la tierra seca, cuando las lagunas o charcos se secan ellos se mueven apoyados en las aletas como si fueran patas, migran a otros charcos o arroyos migran a otros charcos o arroyo.
