Upland Goose (Chloephaga picta)

En el fotograma entraron diez, pero eran dieciséis, once allí y cinco mas a unos pocos centenares de metros. Tantos Chloephaga picta juntos en el Lago Nahuel Huapi (Bioma de Bosque Subantártico) es una rareza. En este caso podría deberse a la fuerte sequía que experimenta su hábitat, la Estepa Patagónica, y también al viento Este - Oeste que soplaba y también es muy raro en la región.
No fue la única observación inusual de aves acuáticas de ese día.
