Es un árbol de tronco leñoso, varios metros de altura, en terreno de relleno de la Escollera Norte, a pocos metros del mar por ambos lados, expuesto a rociones de agua salada durante las tormentas, sin ningún tipo de cuidado, hoy con follaje sano y gran cantidad de flores en 10 de agosto.
