Especie nativa en Uruguay, con tres especies registradas.- Inflorescencia en glomérulos, con aproximadamente 15 en cada flor.- Según un estudio que realicé en esa fecha, desde que abre el primer glomérulo hasta la flor totalmente abierta, transcurren 24 horas.
