El Ypaka´a o Gallineta grande, según quien a ella se refiera, camina sobre los repollitos de agua, en los humedales del Santa Lucía. En un área rural cercana al gran río del sur del Uruguay viví 10 años, durante los que nos encontramos incontables veces. Pero sólo luego de permanecer en Paraguay por mucho tiempo, pude entender que en su vocalización advierte que "se acabó la yerba".
