Me llamó la atención que estas bellas aves están durante todo el día comiendo semillitas de los arbustos de la estepa y al atardecer se acercan a los bordes gredosos del Río Chubut a comer greda, no se si es por falta de minerales o por la ingesta de algún tóxico en su dieta.
