Es el primer registro para la Provincia de Entre Ríos. Su distribución actual conocida llega hasta el vecino departamento de Artigas (Uruguay). El ejemplar se asoleaba al borde del camino y se dejó fotografiar a menos de un metro de distancia. Luego huyó en carrera veloz.
