La Playa Costanera se caracteriza por ser de canto rodado y limo arenoso. En verano se utiliza como balneario. Lindera al puerto como resguardo al oleaje del mar. Próximo a la costa se encuentran buques atracados. Los gaviotines pescaban entre los pobladores que asistían al baneario, principalmente en donde se concentraba la mayor cantidad de gente.
