Presenta en la cabeza lineas delgadas,y el castaño es más oscuro. Las partes inferiores son más oscuras. Podría tratarse de un subespecie Z. c. chilenis o Z. c. zamborni? Martínez Piña, González Cifuentes. Las aves de Chile. Nueva Guía de Campo.
