En rocas al borde de un arroyo, en lugar húmedo. Varios machos y hembras. Reproducen en el lugar, no son migrantes, por eso la marca de reproducción. Se ven apófisis en el 4º y 5º segmento además de las femorales características de la Espècie. A 1700 m s.n.m., en bibliografía dicen que llega hasta 1900 m s.n.m., las otras Especies del Genero viven a mayor altura.
