Criatura de apenas unos milímetros, encontrado debajo de basura mojada que el río había arrastrado durante la última crecida. Identificado en el en Grupo Latinoamericano de Investigación en Staphylinidae. Pertenece a la subfamilia Pselaphinae y a la tribu Batrisini.
