Soy conocido de un naturalista y cuando realizaba registros fotográficos de este animal, se los informaba, así hace un tiempo le dije que había carpinchos en Cnel. Suarez, al sudoeste de la pcia. de Bs.As. Entonces, él me dijo que iban a llegar pronto a las Encadenadas del Oeste, y eso es lo que ocurrió.
