Existe además una filmación de otro nido de Junquero en ese lugar. Luego toda la costa fue afectada por la inundación (Fenómeno "El Niño" más calentamiento global) y en años siguientes destruida por las actividades de "limpieza", la vegetación fue arrasada sistemáticamente y no han vuelto a nidificar allí hasta 2012.
