El psitácido más común en la zona. Gregarios (grandes bandadas), muy ruidosos. Verde, con remeras azuladas. Pico amarillento. Grandes nidos de ramas, generalmente en árboles exóticos como el eucalipto rojo (eucalyptus camaldulensis)
