En el capítulo dedicado a esta familia de "True Bugs (Heteroptera) of the Neotropics" (2015) hay una foto y comentan que "its color pattern, consisting of longitudinal stripes, is very distinctive among its congeners. This species is broadly distributed in the Neotropics".
