Description: All black with a very noticeable crest. The female is black barred with cinnamon, with a rufous crown and crest.

Geographical Distribution within Argentina: Misiones.

Behavior: Very secretive.

Habitat: Forests.

Diet: Arthropods and invertebrates.

Nesting: Nest built with leaves, semi-spherical, supported (not hanging or between branches).
