Description: All black, speckled with white. The female is black speckled with cinnamon, so heavily speckled that on the head it becomes cinnamon speckled with black.

Geographic Distribution within Argentina: Misiones and northeastern Corrientes.

Habitat: Forests and capueras.

Diet: Arthropods and invertebrates.

Breeding: Nest made of leaves, semi-spherical, resting (not hanging or between branches).
