Description: Rufous head, white periocular area and throat, olive back, orange primaries, and gray underparts. Bluish bill and legs.
Geographic Distribution: Southeast of Jujuy and north of Salta.
Habitat: Yungas between 800 and 1700 masl, the only formicariid in the Argentine Yungas.
Behavior: Terrestrial, more often heard than seen.
Diet: Arthropods and invertebrates.
