Records from Reserva Ecológica Vicente López

Coptopteryx argentina has two clear lines along the entire dorsal part of the abdomen, which easily distinguish it from Coptopteryx gayi, which has 7–8 pairs of elongated white markings on the dorsal part of the abdomen. This characteristic is visible in females and nymphs.
