Description: Brownish-red back, short whitish postocular stripe, short cinnamon-colored tail with black subapical band and ochraceous tip, white throat, ventral side whitish with ochraceous on the chest and strong brown streaking. Beak and long legs are pinkish.
Geographic Distribution: Misiones and northeast of Corrientes.
Habitat: Forests, in the lower and middle strata.
Behavior: Ground-dwelling, running, resembles a Thrush, more often heard than seen.
Diet: Arthropods and invertebrates.
