Dos ejemplares nadando cerca de un km dentro de la Ria de Puerto Deseado. Estos animales, antes considerados como exclusivamente pacíficos han sido registrados en los últimos años dentro de esta Ría (Morgenthaler, A., Fernández, J., Moraga, R., & Olavarría, C. (2014).
