Ambos sexos avistados. Aparentemente, podría ser el 1er registro con evid. fotográfica al n de Mza., existiendo 1 registro concreto en la laguna de Llancanelo (al s de la provincia), en 1993 (Chebez et al, 1993). El 1/6/17, E. Quintanilla asentó otro registro sin evid. en eBird, observando 1 ejemplar en Tranque Jocoli, Las Heras.
