Es muy común ver esta especie en el lugar, tienen de contra que le cambian las palmeras de la luz, por palos de cemento, entonces suelen agujerear las maderas de techos de cabañas, para anidar, en la palmera de la foto, como el agujero está muy bajo, chicos tiraron piedras en su interior, y terminaron desistiendo de hacer nido.
