La inflorescencia color naranja de la que se ocupa nuestro juvenil personaje, es una Asterácea muy común en el Cerro San Bernardo. Su nombre popular es Azafrán o Azafrancillo, taxonómicamente corresponde a Cnicothamnus lorentzii.
