Description: Black back, white ventral, white wing strips and tail bars, red iris. The female has a brown back, ochraceous ventral, and red iris.

Geographical Distribution in Argentina: Northern part of the country up to Catamarca, San Luis, Córdoba, Santa Fe, and Entre Ríos.

Habitat: Forests, woodlands, and savannas.

Feeding: Arthropods and invertebrates.
